Three-day spring break to be hosted at Germiston Lake

The weekend promises an array of entertaining family friendly activities

Germiston Lake Park will be home to the annual Kwesta three-day spring break for music lovers from September 27 to 29.

Partygoers will be spoilt with a variety of musical genres, which include Gqom and Amapiano on the first day, with the BET award-winner Sho Madjozi, Dj Tira, DJ Maphorisa, DJ Sumbody and Kabza da Small making the line-up.

On Saturday hip hop heads and house music lovers will enjoy the sounds of Kwesta, Heavy K, Cassper Nyovest and Ricky Rick.

To conclude the weekend-long festivities, Sunday will see the soulful sounds of AfroPop and R&B with the line-up of heavyweights such as Mafikizolo, Bucie, Donald, Mlindo the Vocalist, Berita, Encore, Thabsie and Glen Lewis.

The weekend promises an array of entertaining family-friendly activities such as boat cruises on the lake and a theme park for kids.

The festival also offers a camping site where consumers can rent a space for the duration of the event. The camping site offers tents, shower stations and three meals a day.

Single-day tickets cost R150, the three-day package R400 and the camping site is R1 985 a person for three days.
