King Mzaiza from Ivory Park signs his first artist
'For now I can say I wanna give young people opportunities to come alive and help them uplift their talents'
Sipho ‘King Mzaiza’ Mosime, a hip-hop artist from Ivory Park Extension Seven, signs his first artist Jesapii Rappaholic under his new record label King Mzaiza Music.
The hip-hop veteran released his new EP called Niggar Up earlier this year in April. On Friday, September 19, the artist invited the Tembisan to celebrate the signing of the first member of the King Music family.
“Doing music, it’s art but in the end, it’s a business. I always wanted to open a recording company,” said Mosime.
Mosime said he signed Jesapii because he is good at what he does and his music is different from the rest.
“He is doing Trap and Rap music and he knows what he wants and works hard for what he believes in,”
“For now I can say I wanna give young people opportunities to come alive and help them uplift their talents, first being Tshwarelo Laecrio Mathebula,” said Mosime.
“I cannot specifically say who in the music industry inspired me to get involved in the music industry, I believe it came from my poetry side, I used to do poetry in school during the junior levels,” says Jesapii Rappaholic.
“I want to be a big brand, that is why I joined King Mzaiza Music, working with him will give me exposure because he has been involved in the industry I want to join,” said Jesapii Rappaholic.
