BREAKING NEWS: Body of missing girl found

The body of a 10 year old girl who went missing from her home at Capricorn Park in Soekmekaar last week Tuesday afternoon was found.

Two elderly women looking for firewood this afternoon discovered the body of a 10 year old girl who went missing from her home at Capricorn Park at Morebeng (Soekmekaar) last week Tuesday afternoon.

The body was discovered in a dense bushy area outside Ratsaka village.

‘Reneilwe Makomoto was last seen at around 14:00 when she was playing with friends.

According to information she told them that she was going home but never arrived. Her friends also had not seen her again.

 Members of the family identified the body as the missing girl but DNA testing will be done to confirm,’ Col Ronel Otto said.

The cause of death is also not yet known and a post mortem will be conducted.
