BREAKING NEWS: Government car hijacked in Letsitele

Letsitele Police launch a massive manhunt for three armed suspects who hijacked a Government car.

It is alleged that on  Tuesday late afternoon along the Tarentaal and Bushvalley road, a 57 year old man driving a Government vehicle from the Department of Nature Conservation Wildlife in Giyani, when a white VW Polo with MP registration numbers overtook him, stopped in front and 2 out of the 3 suspects came out and pointed firearms at him, the police said.

He was then pulled out of the car and thrown inside the boot of their car and they drove away into the bushes near Ndhambe village where they tied him to a  tree and robbed him of the following:

State motor vehicle Toyota 4X4 with registration numbers GCB 497 L white in colour, ammuntion, cellphones, money, panga, safe keys and more.

No arrests yet  and Police investigations are still continuing.
