The police succeeded in recovering the vehicle that was stolen during the attack on the elderly couple in Haenertsburg during the past week.
The vehicle was noticed around Letsitele last night and the occupants, when noticing the police, abandoned it and ran into the bush.
The vehicle was searched and three firearms were discovered.
The Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Ledwaba has once again commended the members for their swift action in solving these cases.
