UPDATE: Lion poacher apprehended

'Four paws and the head were recovered'

Update: 13:00

One suspect was arrested in connection with the killing of the lion at Ingogo Safaris game lodge in Alldays.

‘The lion’s head and paws were removed. The suspect, aged 31 was arrested and all four paws and the head were recovered. The other three suspects managed to evade arrest. The arrested suspect will appear in court soon. More arrests are expected,’ the police said.
