SLC/Beaulieu College sporting Derby

Stanford Lake College squash team played a friendly game with their opponents as the Beaulieu team were short of players.

It was a good run out for SLC students playing against 2 of the opposition players and their own players.

The evening was enjoyed by all. Rankings after the night: Marc Stirling (SLC), Bryce Reed (SLC), Casper Venter (SLC), Lance Trueman (SLC), Beaulieu – 1, Beaulieu – 2. Rugby: Stanford enjoyed a brilliant day on the rugby field, dominating Beaulieu throughout all the matches.

The u/15 team had an impressive win, the boys are playing magic, skillful rugby at the moment and it will be great to watch their development over the next couple of years.

The 2nd team played a 10’s match and won comfortably, affording the opportunity for the whole squad to have chance on the pitch.

The SLC 1st XV had an exceptional game, playing running rugby and dominating Beaulieu in the scrums and at the breakdown to record an impressive victory.

Results:1st XV won 44-10, 2nds won 34-15, U/15 won 60-0.

Netball: The netball teams had a tough day on the courts.

The u/16 team played very good netball and were unlucky to be on the wrong side of the match.

They will just need to keep working hard on their commitment to improve on their results through dedication. There is no doubt that next season the results will be a different story.

Results: 1st team lost 32-16, 2nds lost 22-7, U/16A lost 21-17, U/16B lost 24-1, U/14 lost 20-7.
