WATCH: Zimbabweans in SA fear giving interviews because of Mugabe

“If someone had taken Mugabe out, I would have taken the next bus home to Zimbabwe.”

The Citizen visited the Johannesburg central business district and we asked some Zimbabwean nationals about their thoughts on the political situation in Zimbabwe.

People seem to think that Robert Mugabe has some sort of power everywhere and that he will get them killed if they uttered even one one about what is going on in Zimbabwe.

“We are scared that if you leave with the camera after the interview we will be attacked by some supporters of Robert Mugabe.”

This was the concern of some people who did not want to comment on the matter.
