LETSITELE: Police ask assistance to reunite woman (19) and baby with family

The woman who is having a one-year-old baby boy, is currently being offered a shelter at the Letsitele Victim Empowerment Centre.

The police in Letsitele are asking the assistance of the community in regards to a 19-year-old female, known only as  Rhukanani.

‘The woman who is having a one-year-old baby boy, is currently being offered a shelter at the Letsitele Victim Empowerment Centre. It is further suspected that she might be originally from Mozambique but has been in  South Africa for a  couple of years where she might be residing in one of the farms around the Letsitele policing area,’ Constable Maphure Manamela said.

The police have  already engaged with different stakeholders like the Department of Social Development, Homes Affairs and farmers but with no success, according to the police.

The Police are requesting anyone with information which can assist the victim to reunite with her loved ones to contact Constable Ntsako Reoh Mabunda at 078 190 8092  or the Crime stop number on 08600 10111 or the crime line sms 32211 or the nearest police station.
