TZANEEN: Significant drop in temperature expected from today

Widespread showers and thundershowers are expected from Monday until Wednesday in Limpopo as well as other provinces including Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal, Northern Review reports.

The South African Weather Service says it is monitoring the development of a cut-off low pressure system which is set to affect the country from tomorrow, 14 May.

Widespread showers and thundershowers are expected from Monday until Wednesday in Limpopo as well as other provinces including Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal.

The weather service says there is potential for some areas to receive significant amounts of rainfall from this weather system, and this may result in localized flooding in places.
