Stanford Lake College pupil, Lance Trueman, is showing incredible skills as an all-round cricket player and is reaping in the accolades for his skills on the field.
Over the past cricket season, Lance has represented Aces Cricket Club in the 1st Division (Premier League) of the regional 50 over tournament.
Lance was the youngest player in the Premier League. Playing in nine matches, he scored 334 runs, with his highest score being 126 at an average of 37.1 per innings.
His bowling figures were just as impressive. Bowling a total of 84.4 overs which included 8 maidens, 24 wickets and an economy of 4.9 runs per over.
Lance was selected as the Aces best bowler and overall player of the year on Friday night.
In addition, at the annual Limpopo Impala Cricket Provincial Awards Ceremony, Lance was selected as the best bowler in the Capricorn district as well as best overall player in the Premier League.
