TZANEEN: Two boys injured after jumping off truck

Paramedics assessed the boys and found that they had sustained numerous injuries and were in a critical condition.

Two boys, believed to be aged between 6 and 8- were left critically injured after they allegedly jumped off the back of a moving truck along the R36, approximately 17km outside of Tzaneen Monday morning November 5.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the two boys on the side of the road.

Paramedics assessed the boys and found that they had sustained numerous injuries and were in a critical condition.

The boys were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Van Velden and Letaba Hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
