TZANEEN: Chamber talks all things agriculture

The speaker for the afternoon, Kgampi Bapela, spoke about the IDC's involvement in the growth of the agricultural sector.

The monthly Chamber of Commerce luncheon took place last Friday at Hotel@ Tzaneen.

Thismonth the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) sponsored the luncheon.

The speaker for the afternoon, Kgampi Bapela, spoke about the IDC’s involvement in the growth of the agricultural sector.

“We are celebrating our 89th year in business. We have been a part of Limpopo’s fastest growing industry – mining, and we intend to help the agricultural community in the revitalization of their farmlands,” explained Bapela.

He went on to say that by helping landowners who want to go into agricultural business but still need to grow their expertise, they are growing the economy.

“We want to see the change and growth in our community. We want to support the agricultural sector throughout its growth,” concluded Bapela.

Afterwards the guests started networking while dishing up their meals.

The Chamber of Commerce would like to take this opportunity to give thanks to IDC for their sponsorship, Pest Control Specialists for the guest speaker’s hamper, and Hotel@ Tzaneen for the venue.
