A man who committed fraud was sentenced to jail by the Tzaneen Regional Court recently.
Andries Johannes Els (52) was arrested on Friday, February 15 2019 and was kept in police custody until he was sentenced this week.

Hawks spokesperson, Captain Matimba Maluleke stated that the Hawks welcomed the conviction and hopes that it will serve as an example to other fraudsters.
