Tenders and job scam warning

Members of the community should be alert to these tender and job scams that are doing the rounds and report any such suspicious activities to FOSKOR

Foskor would like to warn members of the community in Ba-Phalaborwa regarding fraudulent activities in which unsuspecting business persons and job seekers are being robbed off their monies under the pretence that they will receive tenders or jobs from the company.

The fraudsters will contact you pretending to be representatives of Foskor procurement or HR and request you to make certain payment in advance. They also use the names of Foskor’s employees in order to get attention.

Red flags or things to look out for in fradualent activities

  • The use of  cellphone numbers
  • The email address is not in the company’s name
  • Letterhead
  • The value of the tender
