Tebatso empowering village girls

Mrs Limpopo Province semi-finalist 2023, Tebatso Mabelebele, is using her pageant status to reach out to the community.

The 27-year-old from Lenyenye, outside Tzaneen, says she has always wanted to enter beauty contests from a young age, but only had the courage to do so now in her adult life.
“I entered this competition, because I want to inspire girls and women, to audaciously follow their dreams.
“I want them to know that anything is possible, they too can become a pageant queen, regardless of their weight.

“My focus is to empower young rural women and to help alleviate poverty stricken communities,”Mabelebele explained.
She recently donated books and computer, sponsored by Anova to Mapitlula Village library.
The pageant queen also donated sanitary pads sponsored by Spar Modjadjiskloof and she bought groceries to the villagers. She also handed over soccer kit and balls to Mapitlula Village Soccer team.

Tebatso is married to Clark Mabelebele and are blessed with a two-year-old daughter, Chapel Warona.
