Local restaurants packed for Mother’s Day

Three local restaurants that participated in the Herald’s Mother’ Day selfie competition were packed and overwhelmed on Sunday. 

Krabbefontein restaurant, Le’Thaba Restaurant and Matumi venue at Fairview Hotels, Spa and Golf Resort and Cloud Mountain Spur were bustling with families treating mom to a great meal.

Cloud Mountain Spur ‘s menu included two course or a three-course meal, Krabbefontein presented a three-course family-style meal and Fairview offered a buffet luncheon to celebrate the day.

Fairview Hotels, Spa and Golf Resort is the winner of the Herald’s restaurant competition and their prize is online advertising to the value of R9 000.

“We were fully booked on Sunday with families dining at our newly built Matumi venue. Our Clubhouse and Le’Thaba restaurant also had a busy afternoon. Thank you for the support,” says Angie Woodward, marketing manager of Fairview Hotels, Spa and Golf Resort.
