Papa Joy’s mother gave her a gold ring and watch as a symbol of welcoming her into their family. Papa Joy arrived in South Africa on September 7, and the couple immediately got engaged in Cape Town. Last week he arrived in Malamulele for lobola celebrations and met the entire Chauke family.

Being a respectful man, he bought Mama Joy’s family gifts and also visited her father’s grave. There are speculations that they will hold a white wedding in France in the presence of Papa Joy’s family. However, it is still not clear if she will be packing up to live in France full-time.
