Koru Camp field guides Joel Sithole and Bongani Ngwena attend Careers in Conservation Expo, inspiring 300+ local learners to pursue conservation careers.

LIMPOPO – Field guides, Joel Sithole and Bongani Ngwena, were thrilled to represent Koru Camp at the fourth annual Careers in Conservation Expo at Moses Mnisi High School hosted by Timbavati Foundation and The Global Conservation Corps (GCC).

Alongside more than 300 eager learners from five local schools, the event was attended by local officials and many other organisations hoping to inspire a new generation of conservationists.

Joel said the day was a really big, beautiful day. “Learners could learn and understand what we do and we as organisations could connect and create relationships with each other, it’s a beautiful initiative!”

He also thanked the teams at Timbavati Foundation and the GCC for organising the event as well as everyone who made the day special.
