The Hope Givers Foundation has launched an ICT Hub providing e-learning opportunities and valuable resources to the local community.
LIMPOPO – The Hope Givers Foundation has launched an ICT Hub in Muhlava village, aiming to provide e-learning opportunities and valuable information to community members.
The centre, officially opened on Thursday, November 28, by Princess Nkakasana Muhlava of the Nkuna Traditional Authority and Tsakani Mkhari, the founder of the foundation, promises to be a significant educational resource for the community.
In a ribbon-cutting ceremony symbolising the hub’s inauguration, ICT stakeholders praised the foundation’s initiative and pledged their support.
Mustek Limited, represented by Bafedile Makwela, donated ten laptops and two printers to the centre. Additionally, Tshwane University of Technology and the University of Limpopo committed to supporting the project by offering various educational programmes.
Apostle Tebogo Ramoshaba offered his assistance with legal advice, ensuring the foundation has the necessary legal support as it grows.
Other notable organisations present at the event included the Telkom Foundation, Hosi Technologies, Mahuma Group, and Getdown Productions.
Demonstrating its commitment to community education, the hub hosted a free two-day computer course last week for 200 residents, organised by NEMISA and the University of Limpopo.
