Cell C has provided 1 500 5L bottles of drinking water to residents in Hoedspruit to help families affected by the recent floods in the area.

HOEDSPRUIT – Residents of Hoedspruit and surrounding villages were offered a helping hand as Cell C delivered 1 500 five-liter bottles of still water for the community during the recent floods.

The bottles were available in front of Pick n Pay, and the initiative was aimed at providing free access to safe drinking water to local families.

A Cell C spokesperson emphasised that the distribution was done on an honest basis, with residents encouraged to take one bottle per family per day. The bottles were also monitored by Farm Watch CCTV cameras, ensuring safe and fair access.

The company has reminded the community to dispose of bottles responsibly after use, promoting environmental care alongside community support.
