Search intensifies for missing Hoedspruit child

The search for a missing toddler in Sedawa village, Hoedspruit, is ongoing. Police have appealed to the public for assistance.

HOEDSPRUIT – Police in Hoedspruit have intensified the search for a 1-year-9-month-old boy who went missing in Sedawa village earlier this month.

Kahlodi Mokibelo was reported missing on April 2 at around 16:00.

Last seen playing

According to police, the child was last seen playing with other children before he could no longer be found.

His mother, with the help of family members, began searching the area, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Community members later joined the search, including combing nearby areas and a river in the vicinity.

The child has still not been located.

Search ongoing

Police and other stakeholders are continuing with search operations.
