LIMPOPO – A fire broke out at Letaba Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park on yesterday (September 24), affecting two tourist units.
According to SANParks, camp staff and the ranger team responded immediately and managed to contain the fire before it spread to other areas.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and an investigation is underway.
SANParks said other facilities at the camp, including the shop, filling station, elephant museum and reception, remain operational as normal.
