Zandspruit trail runners shine

In the 20km trail run, Dave Rose took first place overall, crossing the finish line with 1:38:50 on the clock followed by veteran runner, Grant Lapping in second place five seconds later. Philip Steel took third place in the men’s division. Ashleigh Baker took first place in the women’s division, running the 20km route in 2:12:17.
Jessica Osmers took second place and Marietjie Pietersen took third place. More than 40 runners took on the 10km route with Grant Pengilly taking first place with a time of 1:06:19. Grandmaster, Maryna Steinman won the women’s division with a time of 1:08:19.

Christaan Steinmann took second place in the men’s division, crossing the finish line with 1:08:53 on the clock and Francoise Steyn took third place in the race. Jeanne Matthis took second place in the women’s division and Leonie Kiesler took third place.
In the 5km trail run Vince Ngwenyana took first place overall with a time of 30:15 and u/12 runner, Stefani Steyn, won the women’s division.
