VIDEO: Ellie in Hoedspruit says ‘hello’ to tourists

Grab your trunk and let’s get out of here! A group of tourists in the Balule Game Reserve in Hoedspruit got more than they expected on safari.

Eswe Ras told the Letaba Herald that they were out on safari in the Balule Game Reserve with tourists in February when an elephant strolled over to see what they were up to.

“The guests were not scared, it was a very calm and quiet experience,’ Ras told the Herald.

The person sitting in the tracker seat is Ras. He is the front of house manager at Balule, and also a qualified guide, occasionally doing the tracking on game drives.

Ballule’s head guide Kevin van der Linde took the video.
