“I named it Mountains Of Mopani because I’m an artist who was born in this region of Mopani, surrounded by beautiful mountains which attract tourists from all over the world.

Yet at the same time you feel like this same mountains are hindering your voice from being heard beyond them as a musician.

In simple terms I’m like the lion in the mountains that is determined to win by combining all our cultures and languages in music to share it with the world.

The EP is not out yet but people can expect it anytime from now.

It has been nine months of hard work and I feel that the baby is ready to be born.

It will consist of eight songs which features various musicians strictly from our region because I wanted to keep it as local as possible in order to maintain the image of Mopani.

I believe the people I worked with were able to help me with one common energy to create something historical that can be remembered 5-10 years from now.

It was more about forming unity amongst our musicians and finding the balance between established brands and upcoming artists.

A big thank you to Dj Janisto, Lil Meri, CK DE DJ, Ceephonik, Magistics, Master Betho, Snaykeys, Malome Boston, MacTee SA, Lim Train, Dj Bennito, Nwana’G, Tsarow Drumbeat and my little sister Fulu for being part of this historical project.

I’m just trying to get this project out to my fans and start working on a new album. I will soon disclose new projects I am working on which include endorsement deals and ambassadorship roles.

Music production has been my coping mechanism throughout the lockdown.

Although the lockdown has affected our financial stability as performers, I believe it also gave us enough time for self-evaluation.

Right now we are just adamant to get back to the stage and re-strengthen our brands.
