YOUTH MONTH: Matimba continues to flourish in business

Matimba Makaringe is the founder of Courageous Cosmetics, which manufactures and sells perfumes.

Through the brand, she also teaches the art and skill of perfume manufacturing.

She also produces a honey range called Miss Courage Honey.

Her message to young people is that they have the obligation to get up and find the means to contribute to society.

“We can no longer blame the government nor wait for funding to start and grow our businesses.

“We need to create a culture of starting and working with what we have and most importantly supporting each other.

“We are future leaders and it is imperative to start now to leave lasting legacies for the people coming after us.”

Her perfumes can be found all over the country now, she has agents in different areas.

She also affords people the opportunity to earn an extra income, by buying perfumes in bulk for less and selling it at retail sale price.
