Ingredients

  • 2 cups Harvestime Mix Veg
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 2 teaspoons chilli powder (add less if you prefer less heat)
  • 2 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes – or 3 to 4 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Method

  1. Heat oil in a large pot on medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and cook until softened, then add the garlic.
  3. Add in the beef mince and simmer until water dries out.
  4. Add in the mixed herbs and chilli powder.
  5. Next add the tomatoes, tomato paste, a dash of water, and the Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Allow to simmer for about 10 minutes before adding in the Harvestime mixed veg.
  7. Cook for 8 – 10 minutes until veggies have softened.
  8. Serve with pap or rice.
