Video: Durban road rage incident
An angry driver almost caused a massive accident on the N2 north-bound.
A video of a road rage incident in Durban has surfaced on social media.
The video, which was captured on a dashboard camera, shows the driver of a BMW X5 in what looks like a heated exchange with the driver of a VW Polo on the N2 north-bound before the Inanda and Umgeni Road off-ramp.
The incident took place in January, Highway Mail reported.
In the clip, the driver of the BMW pulls up alongside the VW Polo then abruptly swerves into the path of the Polo. The Polo driver evades the BMW, missing another vehicle behind a cement mixer.
The BMW driver’s attempts to swerve into the Polo caused the vehicle to veer off the road.
