Load shedding stage two implemented

Customers to experience load shedding twice a day.

Eskom has implemented stage two of load shedding from 2pm on Wednesday (4 February).

According to Khulu Phasiwe from the Eskom media desk, “We have lost generating capacity and had to implement stage two of load shedding.”

Stage two of load shedding means that Eskom customers will have load shedding twice in one day.

Phasiwe urges residents to assist the major electricity provider in reducing load on the national grid.

“Non-essential appliances and especially geysers should be switched off to reduce load,” he said.
