It looks like no load shedding planned so far today from Eskom’s side but as we know, this can change very quickly.
According to Khulu Phasiwe from the Eskom Media Desk, “The grid looks relatively ok. We currently have the capacity to meet demand thus we have not implemented any load shedding so far.”
He continued “Usually at 4pm we see an increase in the demand. Our challenge is normally at this time. The risk of load shedding at that time will then increase and we may go into load shedding at that time. This all depends on various factors and is very difficult to predict.”
