Randfontein Local Municipality built a new park in Mohlakeng extension 7 and invites residents to enter a competition to name the park and stand a chance to win R1 500 in cash.
In order to qualify, you must be a resident of Randfontein, have a verifiable physical address and a valid South African Identification Document.
Pupils can also enter under the supervision of a parent who will need to provide proof of address and an ID document on behalf of the pupils.
Residents will name the park by completing the competition entry form and suggest the name they think is the best. Only one entry form is permitted per person. The winning name will be the official name for the park.
Entry forms can be deposited in one of the Randfontein Local Municipality sealed boxes available in all municipal offices.
