Expect load shedding to be implemented in the evening.

That is if the power system is constrained between 5pm to 9pm.

Earlier today Eskom informed the public “There will be no load shedding for the first part of Friday 30 April as there is currently enough electricity generating capacity to meet demand” but, although the power system is stable at present it is expected to be constrained during the evening peak period.

Eskom will keep the public updated on the state of the power system and advise the public accordingly should the need to load shed in the evening arise.
