There was yet again no load shedding for the first part of Monday but the power system is expected to be constrained during the evening peak period from 5pm to 9pm.

Eskom will keep the public updated on the state of the power system and advises the public accordingly should the need to load shed in the evening arise. Eskom thanks all electricity users for responding to their message to save.

The electricity giant is also proud to announce that in the past seven days (168 hours), they only had to load shed for 4 hours and 31 minutes.
