West Rand illegal mining: Three bodies found in Mohlakeng
Three bodies with gunshot wounds were found in Mohlakeng and police suspect it could be linked to illegal mining.
Police confirmed that three bodies were found in Mohlakeng on March 14.
According to a statement issued, police were called to a scene in the area where the bodies were discovered with gunshot wounds. The motive for the killing will be investigated.
It is further suspected that the victims could be linked to illegal mining as this area is known for illegal mining activities.

Furthermore, Gauteng Police confirmed another eight bodies were found in the Florida, Roodepoort area recently where illegal mining is also prevalent.
