Two arrested for drug dealing in Wilbotsdal

More success for the West Rand Flying Squad, who arrested another two suspected drug dealers and recovered a hijacked vehicle.

The police’s West Rand Flying Squad (WRFS) continues to clean the streets of criminality and recently shared their most recent successes, which include recovering a hijacked vehicle and the arrest of drug dealers.

Spokesperson for the WRFS, Karen du Plessis, said that during the morning of March 27, they recovered a hijacked Hyundai Grand i10 that was found abandoned outside a hostel in Kagiso, where she continued that it was not even stripped of its parts and was fully intact.

She added on March 28, they arrested two foreigners for suspected drug dealing in Wilbotsdal, Randfontein.

“They were both in their early 30s and found 5g of Crystal Meth and 2g of Cat on them, as well as eight cellphones.

The estimated value of the drugs is around R2 000,” she concluded.

Drugs were found on the suspected dealers.
