Robbery shuts clothing store at shopping centre

Police have launched an investigation following a robbery at a clothing store in a Mohlakeng shopping centre.

Police are investigating a robbery at a clothing store in a Mohlakeng shopping centre that took place on the morning of Thursday, January 15.

The Randfontein Herald visited the scene shortly after the incident and found the store closed to the public. At the time, one police vehicle and an ambulance were present at the shopping centre.

A police officer on the scene confirmed that a robbery had occurred but could not provide further details, as officers left shortly thereafter. No eyewitnesses were available.

No injuries were reported.
