In Finsbury, resident Bokkie Pule raised concerns over local infrastructure, pointing to a lack of streetlights, the need for Apollo lighting and ongoing sewerage maintenance issues. Pule also highlighted high municipal billing rates, noting that while some ward councillors remain visible and active, others are rarely seen. She further called for stricter immigration enforcement and a decisive stance against illegal mining in the region.

For Dan Tloome resident Mamello Makhanya, securing a reliable water supply remains the primary challenge.

“I would like to see Dan Tloome community having normal water supply from our taps,” Makhanya said.

She added that residents urgently require a local clinic, as travelling to Kocksoord Clinic or Randgate imposes a heavy financial burden.

Makhanya also called for the installation of a network tower, noting that poor cellular connectivity hinders emergency calls and internet access. She noted that no local councillor or mayoral candidate had visited the area to engage residents directly.
