West Rand giants set to clash soon
Roodepoort Rugby Club are set to host Randfontein Rugby Club on Saturday, 7 April at Ruimsig Stadium in one of the West Rand's biggest rugby rivalries.
The Poorte vs Randfontein rugby clash is always a sight to behold, and is definitely a day not to be missed by West Rand rugby fans.
This year, on Saturday, 7 April, the two sides will be locking horns at Ruimsig Stadium for the first time in what will also be Poorte’s first match at their new home ground.
Poorte have already made a rocking start to their 2018 campaign by going unbeaten in their pre-season matches.
They will definitely put up a strong fight against the Randfontein Rugby Club, which has been the king of the derby for the last few years.
It will be a day for spectators of all ages to remember owing to the amazing sponsors backing the clubs.
Apcan Security will provide security on the day.
