Teine first team starts season on high note
The first team of Randfontein Rugby Club beat visitors East Rand United 42–12 in a pre-season friendly played at Greenhills Stadium.
The first team of Randfontein Rugby Club started the new season on a high note with an easy victory against East Rand United.
In what was just a pre-season friendly encounter, the first team cruised to a 42–12 win while the second team crashed to a heavy 70–7 defeat.
The matches were played at the Greenhills Stadium on Saturday, 2 February.
Johan Cronje, Randfontein Rugby Club chairperson said overall, the first team performed well in their first game of the season.
“Our next focus is the friendly against Springs Rugby Club away from home on Saturday, 23 February,” Johan added.
