Gym fanatics in town and as far as Fochville gathered in Wilbotsdal over the weekend for a challenging CrossFit Competition.

Gym fanatics in Randfontein gathered in Wilbotsdal on Saturday, 22 June to take part in the Rudolph and Rachel Elite Fitness Club (R&R) CrossFit competition.

According to Rachelle du Plessis, co-owner of the club, athletes took part in various challenges, with R&R clearly dominating all the categories.

“We had people coming from different clubs, including Fochville, Featherbrooke, Rustenburg and Johannesburg to participate and support us,” Rachelle said, adding that the competition also marked the club’s first anniversary.

She promised that the town can look forward to many competitions in future.
