Mutilated genital case postponed again
Another wait for Hammanskraal man who is accused of mutilating his wife's genitals.

A case against a Hammanskraal man accused of mutilating his wife’s genitals has been postponed to 20 August, police said on Thursday.
Phuti Malema (34) appeared in the Moretele Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, said police spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi.
Police earlier said Malema apparently accused his wife Mapula of cheating on him last year before he attacked her in full view of their children.
He pleaded guilty last month but denied the knife he used was the one presented in court. He was charged with attempted murder and remained in custody.
The investigating officer was reportedly in court on Wednesday to give evidence on the knife but a technical hitch caused another postponement.
