Young man killed in Woodhill
A young worker was killed when he landed under a waste removal truck.
A waste removal worker was killed on Friday morning when he landed under a truck in Woodhill, east of Pretoria.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chrs Botha said paramedics found him lying on the ground with injuries in Glendower Drive.
“Reports indicate that the man in his twenties tried to jump onto a waste removal truck while it was moving but failed to hold on to it and landed underneath the truck. The truck then drove over him.”
The truck was removing waste in the complexes around Woohill.
Botha said the man died from extensive injuries.
