Two men to be charged after Centurion shooting
Two men arrested in connection with a shooting at John Vorster off-ramp in Centurion to appear in court soon.
Two men arrested after a fatal shooting in a robbery at the John Vorster off-ramp in Centurion are to appear in court soon.
“The two suspects are due to appear in the Pretoria Central Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday,” said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Dave Miller.”They are facing multiple charges, including murder, possession of unlicensed firearms, possession of suspected stolen property, robbery, and reckless and negligent driving.”
The two are accused of gunning down a man on the John Vorster off-ramp on Friday afternoon before taking bags from the boot of his car.
Miller said the man was shot three times through his driver’s side window. He later succumbed to his wounds in hospital.
Police are still on the hunt for a third man who escaped after a shootout with police.
Police recovered R600 000 in cash upon arresting the two men.
