Going digital last year proved to be a winning formula for a Waterkloof Glen school.
The 2016 matrics of Glen High School excelled in their final examinations.
Lessons, textbooks and other learning materials were made electronically available to learners last year.
This proved to be a huge step in preparing them for a tough world outside the school system.
The learners’ consistent hard work and dedication yielded some outstanding results.
The school’s top three matric learners were:
– Tshegofatso Mogashoa, who obtained an average of 81,7 percent and achieved five distinctions.
He was also awarded Dux scholar for 2016.
– Hot on his tail was Glen Takalani, who obtained an average of 81,3 percent and achieved four distinctions.
– In third place was Vanessa Mohlala, who obtained an average of 79,4 percent and achieved five distinctions.
These learners were fully dedicated to their academics duties throughout their school careers, proving that hard work pays off.
