NEWSFLASH: Family dogs attack young Centurion woman
Her skull flap could be seen spread across the premises.
An 18-year-old Centurion woman narrowly escaped with her life after she was attacked by the family’s Boerboels on Wednesday afternoon.
It is believed the three dogs were hungry and when she collected her fast food order from the gate, they attacked.
Members of residents’ group Centurion Concerned Citizens (CCC) came to her assistance and called the ambulance.
CCC members said pieces of the teen’s skull flap were scattered around the Tolbane Street in Heuweloord residence.

Ruan Heyns from Cert-SA, an NPO emergency medical service in Centurion, said the woman had severe head injuries.
“She also has open wounds in her arms and legs.”
The teen was transported to hospital by ER24.
ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring said paramedics found the woman on the ground near the garage.
“She had serious bite wounds to her head as well as her upper body, leaving her in a critical condition.”
He said advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated, in an effort to stabilise the patient’s vital signs.
“Once treated, the woman was transported to a nearby private hospital for urgent medical attention.”
Meiring said the relevant authorities were alerted to the incident.
Christina Masemola from the SPCA said the dog owner would surrender the dogs.
“I am in contact with the owner who will be back in Centurion by Thursday morning at the latest where we can make the necessary arrangements.”
