The trial of a Pretoria constable suspected of the murder of a senior colleague is expected to proceed in September this year.
“Constable Rishen Rampashard’s trial has been set down to proceed from 3 to 14 September in connection with the murder of Lieutenant-Colonel Reinier Lagois after a new prosecutor and judge were appointed for the case,” private investigator Werner Koekemoer said.
Rampashard was arrested after Lagois was shot 14 times at his home in Rietfontien in 2016.
