Combined efforts from private security companies, community members and metro police led to the arrest of four suspects in separate incidents in Centurion on Thursday.
In Rooihuiskraal two men were arrested during an attempted house break-in. One of them was wounded and arrested after trying to flee from Monitor Net security and police.

Monitor Net spokesperson JP le Roux said the man had pointed a firearm at a company’s security officer.
“The firearm was seized and handed to the police,” said Le Roux.

The second man was caught by Copwatch security and placed in police custody.

Shortly thereafter a second crime was reported in The Reeds.

“We apprehended two more criminals making it a splendid day for fighting crime in Centurion,” said Le Roux.
Residents in the area were urged to keep reporting cases to bring criminal acts to a halt.
