A total of 67 people were arrested in the Tshwane Central policing cluster over the weekend.

Police spokesperson Captain Anton Breedt said the arrests were made through various crime operations in the cluster.
“The operations were focused on property-and drug-related crimes, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and unlicensed firearms,” he said.

Breedt said the Tshwane Central cluster management and other law enforcement agencies were committed in combating crime in the seven station areas and would continue with operations to ensure that there would be heightened police visibility in problematic areas.
He said all those arrested would appear in the Hatfield and Pretoria magistrates’ courts, respectively, on Monday.
