Three armed men were arrested for robberies in Centurion.
Police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said three out of four suspected house robbers were arrested in Olievenhoutbosch on Friday.
He said four armed men entered a house around 01:00 in extension 19 and threatened a woman, taking three cellphones before leaving the house.

“The men continued with their robbing spree and went to another house next door, robbing a 59-year-old man of his personal items before they fled the scene,” he said.
“A team of detectives was assembled immediately to track down the suspects and it yielded results.”
Moloto said the three men were arrested in the area within a period of less than eight hours.

He said the fourth suspect is being sought by the police.
“During the execution of the arrest police seized a toy gun, an unlicensed firearm and four cellphones suspected to have been taken when the suspects invaded the house,” he said.
“We appeal to the residents of Olievenhoutbosch to assist the police with information which could lead to the arrest of the fourth.”

Moloto said a case of possession of suspected stolen items was opened at the Olievenhoutbosch police station for further police investigation.
The three men were scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
